When grace feels too simple for what you did. The situation may be ordinary, but the story you attach to it can shape the whole day. The temptation is to solve the discomfort fast. But fast relief and faithful direction are not always the same thing. Christian faith is not confidence in your own ability to stay strong. It is trust in Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, when your feelings are inconsistent. You do not have to solve your whole life before lunch. You do need to decide who gets the final word today.

What truth from Scripture needs to become louder than your first reaction today?

Lord Jesus Christ, I bring You the part I can explain and the part I cannot. Keep me from reacting out of fear, shame, pride, or loneliness. Teach me to move with You. Amen.
